20 Miles. June 9, 2011

The last time I attempted a 20 miler was on May 27, 2011, I believe.  It was a bust because I went out too fast, and my mileage base just wasn't there.

I went back to the drawing board and got a bunch of 10k's underneath my belt for short runs and/or maintenance runs to prep up for another 20 miler.

This time I was successful.  Hurray for me!!!

My new shoe debut:  Asics Gel Nimbus 11.

Downed:  4 Strawberry Banana PowerBar gels; 2 packs of Margarita with Salt Clif Shok Bloks; and downed some Accelerade.

Post-20 miler, 0.52 mile walk cool down @ 0:11:53 (49 calories burned)

Guestimate net calories burned:  1,302
