There was a lot of hub bub not long ago about Ike's Place having issues with its neighbors at one of its locations in The Castro, San Francisco, CA.  The popularity of its sandwiches and long lines didn't sit well with its neighbors.  But, Ike's Place relocated and is still in business.  It also has a few other locations.

NOTES:

1. I purchased 1 gift certificate for the SF State University location.  It had a lower minimum compared to its location at Lime on 16th Street; I suspect the lower minimum is to accommodate the poor college students.
2. Although my Ike's Place @ SFSU gift certificate said it was valid from January 1, 2011 on, I read in a news article that the SFSU location will not be opened until January 25, 2011.  I am hoping for no construction delay, delaying its opening.
